We have a goal is to help Bend the Curve in Intergenerational Issues, ease the suffering of trauma and create a community to support vulnerable youth in the Mid-North Coast.
We are a Not-for-profit Branch
What does this mean?
Into The Wild maintains the infrastructure to facilitate Adventure Therapy Programs for vulnerable children and Youth in the NSW Mid North Coast. Soaring Into The Wilderness generates funding opportunities for children and youth living in OOHC (out of home Care), from the justice system and from low economic backgrounds who cannot access the Into The Wild program

Next Gen Men
(Teenage boys transitioning to work) 13 to 24yrs.
Each week young men come together for a quick workout and then spend the day doing experiential learning, experiencing different trades and opportunities to find an industry that inspires them to create life goals and positive change.
Empower her
(Teenage Girls transitioning to adulthood and work) 13 to 25yrs of Age.
Each week young women come together on a transformative journey to explore our ecology and relationships, immersing yourself fully in opportunities for personal growth and development.
Mentally Wild
(Youth Mental fitness Program) 7 to 25 yrs of age.
Each and every program that is facilitated throughout our service incoorperates our mnetal fitness program. This program is a skillful journey to recognise challenges, break stigmas and assist in building strategies to over come them.
Next Gen Men
The ultimate transitioning program for young men aged between 13-24 years
The program outline
The NEXT GEN MEN program occurs weekly on Friday afternoons after school hours have commenced providing an opportunity of ryoung men to engage in a range of activities such as a quick workout together to get the endorphins going and then spend the day doing experiential learning, experiencing different trades and opportunities to find an industry that inspires them to create life goals and positive change.
Several of our Young men who have engaged in this stage, have now found paid employment. Into the Wild Adventures continue to mentor and support them, to assist with creating routine, understanding of task at hand, mental fitness, skill development, social skills, socially acceptable behaviours and assist with paperwork required for each job.

Here are the top three key benefits of support and mentoring for young men transitioning into the workforce:
1. Skill Development: Support and mentoring provide opportunities for young men to acquire essential skills needed in the workplace, such as communication, problem-solving, and time management. Mentors can offer guidance on how to navigate professional challenges and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
2. Confidence Building: Transitioning into the workforce can be daunting, but with the guidance of a mentor, young men can gain confidence in their abilities and decision-making skills. Empower her
The ultimate transitioning program for young women aged between 13-24 years
The program Outline
The EMPOWER HER program is due to lauch in Term 3, 2024 every Friday afternoons after school hours with a jam pack four week piolt program aiming to empower young women by helping them recognize their self-worth, cultivate a positive self-image, and establish healthy boundaries for their safety and independence. The pilot program will gather valuable data from participants to inform our long-term support strategies. This weekly facilitated group, akin to our Next-Gen Men program, will offer opportunities for work experience and paid employment by term's end, with plans to continue each term, welcoming both new and returning participants on their journey of growth and empowerment.
What will be covered in the program
The EMPOWER HER program will embark on a self discovery journey for young women full of opportunities for personal growth and development including discussion and scenairo topics such as:
1. Body image
2. Self-belief
3. Empowerment
4. Healthy and harmful relationships
5. Self-care and mental health
6. Sexual and reproductive health
Additionally the program extends into exploring various trades and skills that could shape our futurers as our young women venture into the wide world to become independant.
Mentally Wild
The ultimate Mental fitness program for youth 7 to 25 years of Age.
The program Outline
The MENTALLY WILD program also refered to as our MENTAL FITNESS program is designed to improve and maintain psychological well-being and cognitive functioning, much like physical fitness programs aim to enhance physical health. The primary goals are to build resilience, reduce stress, enhance emotional regulation, and improve overall mental health. This jam packed and experiemental journey aims to create a balanced and healthy mental state, contributing to overall well-being and quality of life as after all we know how to keep physically fit but our minds need some work too!

YOUTH MENTAL FITNESS programs offer numerous benefits, three key factors include:
